Alberta (Betty) Martinez was born on December 29, 1950 in Orange Grove, Texas to Alberto, Jr. and Leonor Gonzales. She was a housewife and helped to raise 3 children, MaryAnne Martinez, Gina Segura, and Pedro Martinez III. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Pedro R. Martinez, Jr. She is survived by daughters MaryAnne Martinez, Gina Segura, and son Pedro Martinez, III. She had 7 grandchildren Erin Martinez, David Galban, Jr., Adam Galban, Kayla Segura, Rudy Segura, Mason Martinez, and Triston Simpler. Betty had 3 great grandchildren Haleigh Scott, Christopher Scott, and Jermiah Martinez. She is also survived by 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Sisters are JoAnn Torres, Mary Moreno, LaLa and Robert Carbajal and LaLa and John Johnston. Brothers are Juan Gonzales, Alfredo and Barbara Gonzales, Richard and Rhonda Flores, Benito and Benita Buentello, and Ray and Josie Gonzales.
