With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Alejandro "Alex" Lopez on June 12, 2025. Born on October 27, 1996, in Dallas, Texas. Alex was the son of Armando Lopez Jr. and Crystal Estrada. He was raised with love and guidance by his grandparents Juan and Aurora Estrada.
Alex worked for an oil company in Odessa, Texas, where he took on the challenges of night shifts and frequent travel. He approached life with a spirit of adventure and joy—he loved fishing, video games, movies, parasailing, horse back riding with his great grandfather, and hiking. He was a gifted artist with a creative soul, Alex's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. His warmth, humor, and generous heart made every gathering brighter.
He is preceded in death by his father, Armando Lopez Jr., and his great-grandfather, Geronimo Lopez.
Alex leaves behind many loved ones who will forever cherish his memory: his dad, Juan Estrada; his mom, Aurora Estrada; his mother Crystal Estrada; his sisters, Nancy Estrada, Fabiola Estrada, and Alexis Young; his brother, Mark Young; his grandmother, Leticia Lopez; his grandfather, Armando Lopez; and many dear cousins: Efrain Hernandez III, Kaitlyn Hernandez, Damien Sanchez, Jayla Ceja, Lyliana Lopez, and Leo Lopez; and his girlfriend, Ellie Ceja, who brought him much happiness.
Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Alejandro "Alex" López el 12 de Junio de 2025. Nacido el 27 de Octubre de 1996 en Dallas, Texas. Alex era hijo de Armando López Jr. y Crystal Estrada. Sus abuelos Juan y Aurora Estrada lo criaron con amor y guía.
Alex trabajó para una compañía petrolera en Odessa, Texas, donde asumió los desafíos de los turnos de noche y los viajes frecuentes. Abordaba la vida con un espíritu de aventura y alegría: le encantaba pescar, los videojuegos, el cine, el paracaidismo, montar caballo con su bisabuelo, y el senderismo.
