Anita Joyce Rodriguez, 58, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025. Born on November 19, 1966, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Anita was known for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, which was the center of her life.
Anita is survived by her loving daughter, Annette Gonzales, and son-in-law, Chris; sister, Connie King, and brother-in-law, Chris King; brother, John Clark and brother Arthur Clark III. and sister- in law Prudence Clark; and her cherished grandchildren: Elijah Ramirez, Adrian Alvarez, Nathan Ramirez, Breazia Ramirez, Analiyah Ramirez, Olivia Esparza, Analise Garcia, and Noah Gonzales. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Clark Jr.; mother, Joyce Clark; aunt, Anita Clark; husband, Rene Rodriguez; daughter, Amber Ramirez; mother-in-law, Guadalupe Rodriguez; and brother-in-law, Bobby Rodriguez.
Despite facing many health challenges throughout her life, Anita never let her own struggles overshadow her care for others. She was always there to cheer you on, offer encouragement, and wish the very best for those she loved. She never complained about being sick and met every obstacle with quiet strength and resilience. Anita fought long and hard, and her courage was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Anita's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She found endless happiness in their laughter, accomplishments, and presence. Whether it was a holiday gathering or a quiet afternoon, her heart was fullest when surrounded by them. Her warmth, kindness, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all those whose lives she touched.
