Antonia Hernandez, 73, passed away  March 22, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born March 5, 1945 in Bulverde, Texas to Meliton and Marcelina Torres. She  was married for 45 years to the love of her life Agustin Lopez Hernandez. Antonia was employed by Walmart for almost 20 years, where she worked in the fabric department.  She loved cooking, making tamales, baking, sewing, playing loteria with the family. Her most enjoyable hobby were her scratch offs. She was loved by all her nieces & nephews and she especially loved visiting with her brothers.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Agustin Lopez Hernandez, brother Juan Torres Sr., and sister Luz Avila.

Antonia is survived by a daughters Elizabeth Hernandez Romero and husband Juan, Linda Jones,  son Alonzo Hernandez and wife Jennifer, brothers Jesse Torres Sr. , Pedro Torres Sr., Santos Torres Sr., Meliton Torres Jr., Rudy Torres Sr., grandchildren Johnny Hernandez, Alyssa Hernandez, Jessica Venegas, Tammy Erwin, Marcelina Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Trinidad Hernandez, Jacob Machuca , Ramon Hernandez, Nina Jones, Zoe Hernandez, Analicea McWhorter,  great-grandchildren Tabitha Hernandez, Nathan Lamper, Seth Lamper, Noah Lamper, Alejandro Lamper, Evan Agustin Minter, Jaelynn Hernandez, Rhiannon Van Winkle.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018  5- 7:00 PM with Rosary starting at 7 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie.  Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster.
