Antonio Gomez Vallejo, aged 81, went to be with the Lord on November 12 th, 2019. He was born on

January 17, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Juan and Dolores Vallejo. Antonio, or Tony to many, met his wife

Francis and raised his family in Dallas. Antonio was a veteran of the United States Army and continued

to serve his nation as a government employee with over 38 years of service. Antonio graduated from the

University of Texas at Arlington.

Antonio was an active member of the Knights of Columbus where he held a fourth-degree level of

service, as well as his notable services with the Boy Scouts of America as a Scout Master and Cub

Master.

Antonio was a man of Faith and a man of Family. He is preceded in death by his mother Dolores Vallejo;

brothers, Robert and Richard Vallejo; and sister, Juanita Ortiz.

Antonio is survived by his wife, Francis Vallejo; brothers, Juan and Carmen Vallejo, sons, Tony, Andy and his wife Cindy, Alex and his fiancé

Alicia, Terry and his wife Debbie, and Dorin Vallejo; daughter, Mary Arevalo and her husband John;

grandchildren, Marianna, Shana, Brittni, Steven, Steffani, Raymond (AJ), Staci (Scout), Chris, and

Taylor; and by his great-grandchildren, Blake, Kirsten, Laila, and Lana.

A viewing is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Rosary will follow at 6:30 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 600 East Marvin, Waxahachie, TX. at 10:00 a.m. with a reception following that the church.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.
