Arthur Franklin Newton

November 25, 1941 - August 30, 2021

Arthur Franklin Newton, 79, of Red Oak, Texas passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.

He was born November 25, 1941 to Maebelle and Lloyd Newton in San Juan, Texas.

Arthur  married the love of his life; Bea, in 1962 in Edcouch, Texas.

He  worked as a sheet metal assembler for Northrup Grumman in Grand Prairie, Texas. He retired  after thirty-one years of faithful service.

He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Ellis County.  He enjoyed listening to music, watching television. He was gifted musically, and enjoyed playing  the guitar, mandolin  and  fiddle.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Maebelle Newton, brother; Terry Newton and grandson; Johnny Frost.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years; Bea Newton, children: Arthur Newton, Jr., Tommy Newton and Vicky Dyer, grandchildren: Amanda Mace, Miranda Newton, Dakota Dyer, Christian Frost, Aaron Frost, great grandchildren; Johnathan & Ethan Mace, siblings: Lloyd Newton, Jr., Kenneth Newton, Leonard Newton, Norman Newton, Melva-Jean Roberts, Bonnie Kopecky, Dolly Lookingbill, Lisa Anthony and Penny Long.
