Barbara Denise Heiland was born on October 23, 1956, in Ceres, California to Donald and Lois Heiland. She attended Ceres High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ceres. Barbara worked at the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department in the records department for over twenty years before retiring.

In November 2011, Barbara moved to Waxahachie, Texas. She was a devoted and loving member of Grace Fellowship of Waxahachie, and she worked as a volunteer at First Look Boutique.

Barbara studied her Bible diligently and faithfully prayed for her friends and family, keeping a prayer journal as she walked with her Lord. Barbara was a kind, loyal, and true friend. She was generous and thoughtful, and she loved to laugh. She enjoyed science fiction, reading, movies, thrifting, making jewelry, board games, and spending time with the people she loved.

Barbara entered the presence of her beloved Savior on December 14, 2017. She leaves behind an extended family of relatives and devoted friends who miss her and look forward to our glorious reunion together with Christ.

A service in celebration of Barbara's life will be held on January 13, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Flying G Ranch, 2636 Patrick Road, Waxahachie, TX, 75167 .
