Benjamin Josiah Jones, 22, unexpectedly went to his heavenly home on September 3, 2025. He was born to Jeremiah and Karla Jones on April 29, 2003, in Ennis, Texas.

Benjamin loved anything music whether it be classical, jazz or worship. He was a very talented saxophone player and blessed many people with his talent. Benjamin enjoyed debate and playing monopoly, chess and online games with the guys.

Benjamin was a student at East Texas A&M at Commerce and participated in band. He was first chair sax for the Jazz Band. Benjamin attended First Assembly of God in Waxahachie where he was a vital part of the Worship Band and Ministry. He worked at the local library, Sims, in Waxahachie before attending college.

Benjamin is survived by parents, Jeremiah and Karla Jones, his brother, Joshua Jones, sisters Jubilea and Kendra Jones, grandparents Thom and Wilma Taylor, and Nancy Jones, his great-grandmother Eileen Boatman and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Kim Jones and his uncle Jordan Jones.

A visitation will be held at First Assembly Waxahachie on Monday, September 8th from 6-8. A funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 9th at 10am at First Assembly of God in Waxahachie with a graveside to follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
