Benny Odom, 75, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away August 14, 2022.  He was born August 29, 1946, in Waxahachie, Texas to Don and Helen (Eves) Odom.

Benny faithfully and proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for six years.

He retired from LGS Technologies in Lancaster, Texas after thirty-two years of dedicated service.

Benny was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Waxahachie.

He loved anything to do with the outdoors, including riding motorcycles and camping.

Benny is preceded in death by his wife Linda Kay Martin Odom, parents: Don & Pauline Odom and Helen & Gene Rogers, and son-in-law Michael Hair.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Paul & Nikki Odom, son Donald Keith Odom, son Stephen Bret Odom, daughter Jennifer Odom, grandchildren: Hope & Brandon McQueen, Kayla & Dillon Malke, and one great-granddaughter Hadleigh Grace McQueen.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Friday, August 19, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas.
