Bertha Ann Davis, while surrounded by her family, went to be with the Lord, on July 19th, 2025 at 85 years of age, in Waxahachie Texas.

Bertha was born on March 17th, 1940, in Rusk, Texas to Vernon Johnson and Emma Thompson.

Bertha loved the Lord, living the country life, gardening, and taking care of her grandkids.

Bertha is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Lashawn Epps, her brothers: Vernon Johnson Jr., Excell Johnson and Lloyd Charles Johnson, and her former husband Harry Epps of 19 years and her late husband Rev. Davis of over 40 years.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Mollice, her children, Princess Gibson, Harry Epps Jr., Donald Epps, Terry Epps and Curtis Epps, Grandchildren: LaTonya Epps, Tammy Webb, Teresa Davis, Taveon Davis, Ameena Epps, Darren Canady, and Natasha Epps, her Great-grandchildren: Christopher Boone, Jeremiah Boone, Zachariah Scott, Keasmon Webb Jr., Kealon Webb, Khloe Webb, Shamaila Ma'at Taylor, Johnathan Lee Hart Jr., Jaleeiah Shatavia Hart, Jaylee Taylor, and her Great-great-grandchild: Raioura Webb.
