Betty Tate, 85 went to be with the Lord January 3, 2015. She was born September 11, 1929 in Crowley, Colorado to William and Eva Mae Bryan. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald Tate & brother Bill Bryan. Betty is survived by sons Gerry David Tate and wife Laura, Howard Dwaine Tate and wife Nancy, Bryan Dayle Tate and wife Valerie, daughters Cynthia Jean Tola and husband Ken, Jeri Jean Tola and husband Christopher, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday January 7, 2015 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Waxahachie Funeral Home. With interment following at Sardis Cemetery.
