IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Billie Wayne
Hardin
July 4, 1956 – August 28, 2025
Bill Hardin, 69, went to his Heavenly home, August 28, 2025, where he is singing in the heavenly choir. He was born on July 4, 1956, in Odessa, Texas, to L.C. and Mary Lou Hardin. He was a very talented musician, singer, and songwriter.
Bill was taught about Jesus Christ growing up attending Southside Assembly of God Church, Odessa, Texas, later attending First Assembly of God, Odessa, Texas. At the age of 12 he began playing piano. His love of the instrument grew along with his musicianship and vocal abilities. He traveled with groups in ministry, such as Doug Chambers. While attending college at SAGC, now Nelson University, Waxahachie, Texas, he traveled with a singing and drama group representing the college, Maranatha Repertoire & Company. After leaving college he spent some time on the road ministering with The Downings.
Places of employment included Odessa Babbitt Bearing Company as a machinist in Odessa, Texas. He owned and operated a pest control business in Brownwood, Texas, for several years.
Bill was often the life of the party exhibiting a keen sense of humor. Being the natural born director he was, I would not be surprised if he didn't locate a nice big grand piano and begin to direct that heavenly choir he just joined, while leading them in a song or two of worship to God whom he loved so very much.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Mary Lou and Doug Woolf, and father L.C. Hardin.
Left to honor his memory are his loving wife of 15 years, Deborah Hardin, daughters Casey Hardin of San Antonio, Texas & Haley Hardin of Brooklyn, New York their mom, Carmen Ledlow, sister Mary Holley of Odessa, Texas, stepbrother Ronnie Woolf of Tye, Texas, stepsister Linda Whitney, grandsons Jaden Hardin, Caiden Aulds, Leo Aulds and many nieces and nephews.
