Billy is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Marion Ruth Moon (better known as Cooter) son Billy R. Moon II and wife Sherry, daughters Diane Smith and husband Devon, Susan Moon, brothers Curtis Moon and wife Wanda, Don Moon and wife Lois, sisters Ruth Thornton and husband Ray, Neva Daughtery and husband Buddy, Helen Trull, Grandchildren Jill Hatcher and husband Kirk, Jana Grissom and husband Roy, Jacob Smith and wife Susan, Trey Moon and wife April, Misty Christian and husband Mark, Leslie Moon, Ronnie Walker and wife Robin, Kenneth Walker and wife Cheryl, Jesse Moon, Gabby Moon, and 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2016, 5 - 7:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be November 8, 2016, 2:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
