Bill Thompson, 92, passed away January 12, 2023, one day after his birthday. He was born January 11, 1931, in Hillsboro, Texas to Darrell and Flora Hughes.

Bill enjoyed fishing, but the most important pass time for him was spending time with his family. All of whom, according to him, never did any wrong.  He was patient, kind, quiet and private - when he entered a room, you could not miss his blue eyes and smile.

He is preceded in death by his brother, John Hughes, and his sisters, Dorothy Carter and Mary Brown.

Left to honor his memory is his loving wife of 68 years is Yvonne Thompson, daughters Charlene Ritchie and husband Angus, Pam Stonecipher and husband Mike, Lisa Thompson, Crissy White and husband Darryl, brother James Hughes, sisters Betty Harris and Juanita Holgerson, grandchildren Laura Foster and husband Mike, Eric Ritchie, Kevin Ritchie, Jennifer Nesuda and husband Brian,  Jason Stonecipher, Traci Diamond and husband Jonathan, Jessica Gilbreath and husband Joey, Taylor Banks, Brittni Dunbar and husband McEntry, Nathan White, Ethan White, and great grandchildren Brooke Foster, Colton Foster, Devin Nesuda, Dylan Nesuda, Drew Nesuda, Peyton Diamond, Blake Diamond, Jonathan Diamond, Cameryn Gilbreath, Casen Gilbreath, Abby Ware, Harper Banks, Brielle Dunbar and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday January 22, 2023 at 1:30 at Red Oak Cemetery.
