Bobby Compton, 55, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away unexpectedly, October 28, 2022.  He was born August 9, 1967, in Arlington, TX to Billy Ray and Janice Compton.  He was employed by Johnson County Sheriff's Department, and previously worked with the Ellis County Sheriff's Department for fourteen years.  He enjoyed deep sea fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys and playing golf with his brother Richard.

He is preceded in death by father Billy Ray Compton, mother Janice Compton, son Aaron Compton, brothers: Billy Compton, Larry Compton, and nephew Jonathan Compton.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of nineteen years Sonya Compton, daughters: Stephanie Compton, Summer Compton, son Bradley Compton, daughter Chelsea Collins, brother Richard and wife Patti Compton, brother Tommy and wife Donna Compton, Ray Compton, Steven Compton, grandchildren: Braidyn Compton, Xavier Cook, Josea Cook, and many friends. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
