Carey Hendrickson, 53, of Waxahachie, Tx lost her battle with cancer on April 26, 2016 in her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 18, 1963 in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Carey loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to play darts and shooting pool. She was actively involved with the Women's Auxiliary at the VFW Post #3894. She loved to laugh and was always smiling.

Carey is survived by her Husband Phillip Hendrickson Jr., Son Phillip Hendrickson III and daughter-in-law Jessica Hendrickson, Daughter Allison Krusen and Son-in-law Joshua Krusen, Mother and Father Sandie and Randy Hagstrom, Mother-in-law Anita Hendrickson, Father-in-law Phillip Hendrickson Sr., grandchildren Hannah, Harlee, Kamryn, Jakob, Tyler and Garrett. Siblings Robin Lamb, Mike and Maricel Hagstrom, Missy Snudden, Mindy and Steve Franks, Shelly and Dave Thomas, Lisa Lamb, Terry and Lucy Hendrickson, Sally and Harlen Southworth, Patty and Steve Klawitter and several nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Brothers KC and Dan Lamb, Brother-in-law Tom Hemerely, and Father Charles Lamb.

A Memorial service will be held on May 7, 2016 at 4:30 PM. At VFW Post 3894, 1405 N. Interstate Hwy 35E, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
