Carolyn Robinson was born on January 6, 1932 in Post, Texas to Marvin and Bertha Vowell.  She passed away early Monday morning, November 19, 2018 in Waxahachie, TX at the age of 86 years old.  She was a longstanding resident of Waxahachie.

She married Arnold Robinson on May 15, 1951 in Truscott, Texas and they were blessed with five children.

Carolyn loved her family and church.  She looked forward to a visit from a friend, a child, or grandchild.  She loved to play her piano and sing to the Lord.  She was a great woman of faith and instilled her faith in each of her children.  She was a very loving and compassionate mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Robinson, her parents, and two brothers, Carroll and Ray Vowell.

She is survived by her five children and their spouses:  Jimmy and Mendy Robinson, Ronny and Latressa Robinson, Billy and Jeanie Sides, James and Shirley McLeroy, and Bobby and Kaitie Robinson, 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Waxahachie Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m.  Immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
