Charles Darnell, 75, was born in Ullin, Illinois to Jessie Bracken and William  Everett Darnell on October 12, 1943.  On November 11, 1992  he married Debbie Kay  Peoples in Las Vegas NV.   Charles was employed by Henger Construction Co. and supported his family with his carpentry skills. Charles also served his country with a tour of service in the US Navy.

Survivors include his wife Debbie; daughters Shonda McAskill, Geneva McAskill, and Lisa Darnell;  sons Cody McAskill, and Justin McAskill;  a sister, Delores Collier, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11. 2019 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be graveside on June 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  at the Oak Branch Cemetery in Maypearl, TX.  Arrangements are under direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
