Charles William "Chuck" Steger, Jr., 78, of  Ovilla, Texas, passed away January 13, 2021.

Chuck was born on April 28, 1942, to Charles William Steger and Virginia Ball Steger, in Harvey, Illinois.

Chuck loved the Lord and was a giver to mission projects around the globe. He enjoyed going on mission trips to the places that he loved and supported through his prayers and giving.

He was an avid runner and cyclist and you just never knew where you might run into him on his bike or running.

He is survived by his loving wife of  fifty-three years, Lois Wikberg Steger, two sons; Mark Steger and his wife Eve, Richard Steger and his wife, Shea Lyn, and six grandchildren; Lindsey Steger, Brandon Steger, Madison Steger, Dustin Steger, Jackson Steger and Jaycie Steger, one brother; Steve Steger and his wife, Colleen.

Chuck will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon, Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, Monday, January 18, 2021,  at First Assembly of God Church, 701 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.

Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery, 599 TX-342, Red Oak, Texas 75154.
