Clemente Munoz, 90, of DeSoto, Texas, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born November 22, 1930 in Hillsboro, Texas to Ambrosio and Felista Munoz.

Clemente was a godly man and a true American Patriot who loved God and his Country. His work ethic was unwavering, each and every day. He was a country boy through and through. He loved his home grown roots and enjoyed sharing priceless memories of his upbringing with his family. He was a skilled and talented craftsman and was a master at creating "something out of nothing." He leaves a rich legacy of faith and love for his family to follow.

In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, travelling, and spending time outdoors.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for over sixty years. He loved and served God and loved others, thus fulfilling Mark 12:30-31: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-three years; Connie S. Munoz, one son and one daughter. Clemente is survived by three children, three sisters, one brother, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, January 12, 2021 at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 W. HWY. 287 By-pass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:30 AM, Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4015 South Hampton Road, Dallas, Texas 75224.

Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 1500 South Westmoreland Road, DeSoto, Texas 75115.
