IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Danny Lee
Brandt
April 3, 1970 – August 16, 2021
On Monday, August 16, 2021, Danny Lee Brandt, loving husband, father, and grandfather unexpectedly passed away at the age of 51.
Danny was born April 3, 1970 in Houston, Texas to Charles Edward Brandt and Carol Jean (Wade) Brandt. He graduated from Northbrook High School, class of 1988 and then went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army from 1988 to 1991.
Danny suffered a spinal cord injury from a dirt bike accident at the age of 31 which left him a quadriplegic; but he did not let his injury diminish his quality of life. Following his injury, Danny received his Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and his Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Texas in Arlington. He spent the last 10 years of his life working for the federal government at the General Services Administration (GSA).
He worked hard to provide for his family and he cherished the time he got to spend with them. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play. He was a planner and always had projects in the works which usually resulted in many trips to his favorite store, Home Depot. He loved working outside on his property and spent many hours outdoors and in his shop. He wasn't afraid to express his opinions and was always there to give advice, even if you didn't think you needed it. He was well respected, an inspiration to many people, and he loved to share his love for Jesus Christ with others.
Danny was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife, Angie, his son Zack Brandt and his wife Maria, his son Kutter Brandt and his wife Krista, his daughter Alexas Brandt, his step-daughter Georgie Rawson and her husband Wesley, his step-daughter Emilee Goodloe, his grandchildren Ayce Brandt, Evelyn Brandt, and Harrison Rawson. He is also survived by his brother David Brandt and his sister Donna Halley.
