Danny Lee Taylor, 68, of Red Oak, Texas passed away at his home on Thursday, December 31, 2020. He was born on November 2, 1952 to Ann & T.J. Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his father; T.J. Taylor, W.T. Slater  and Nana Slater. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty  years, Deborah Taylor, his mother; Ann Slater, his children;  Anne Lanette Webster, and Heather Duval and her husband; Patrick Duval, Wesley Taylor, daughter-in-law; Linda Owen, and five grandchildren; Norah Webster, Noah Webster, Ben Webster, Kenna Duval and Kaylee Duval.

Danny had a great sense of humor and always brought the party with him everywhere he went.  He made those around him (especially his wife) laugh every single day.  He also had a following on Facebook and so many loved seeing the funny things he would post.

He loved fishing, race cars, the beach, and going on cruises.  He also loved to eat and enjoyed seafood (especially shrimp), jalapeno cheese sausages, and Hershey's kisses.  He was also a wonderful singer and would start singing at a moment's notice.  Many felt they had been dropped in a musical anytime he was around.

Above all else, he loved God, his friends, and his family.  His wife, children, and grandchildren were the joys of his life and he will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021  at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 o'clock.
