Debbie Elaine Hackmann was born on October 27, 1958  to Betty & Ted Grimwood in Mexico, Missouri.  She passed away on December 14, 2021 in Waxahachie, Texas.

She is survived by her husband; Dan McCown, her son; Dylan Hackmann, step-son;  Mike McCown and his wife; Claire,  step-daughter;  Kelly McCown, three step grandchildren, and one brother; Don Grimwood and his family.

She  was a hair stylist for 42 years and made many wonderful  friends during  that time.  She loved working with kids and found right where she belonged at her home church ,  The Avenue,  where she lovingly and faithfully  taught  3rd & 4th graders for the past 7 years.

Debbie was a beautiful lady, both outwardly and inwardly.  She was a wonderful, caring,  loving mom, wife and friend and will missed greatly by all who knew her.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 13, 11:15 a.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
