He was born in Breckenridge, Tx. on March 25, 1919 to David and Verlie Dunlap. Denver is survived by his wife Lona Dunlap, daughters, Doles Stone, Joy Hirsh, Linda Raye, Alice Gladney, Doris Brogdon, Jalene Martin, sons Denver Dunlap, Jr. Marvin Lyon, William Lyon, and Edwin Lyon and many grandchildren and great grandchildren Visitation will be before services from 9:00-11:00AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel. .Interment will follow at the DFW National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
