Devin Walter Guthrie was taken from us on the afternoon of Sunday, July 30, 2023. He left this life exactly how he lived it; doing for his family and enjoying every minute.

On June 15, 1991, Devin was born to his mother, Mickey, and delivered by his father, John, at home in Dallas, Texas. His time growing up was crazy but loving, and through all the hardships he faced, he always remained someone his friends and family could call upon at a moment's notice, for anything and everything, no questions asked. His future was looking bright. He recently started his own business, "Gutz" and was able to establish a home with his wife, Jamie, daughter, Neveah, and their three yippee dogs.

Devin had a quick wit and loved to have fun. If you couldn't find him, it was because he was on a four-wheeler or tinkering with something in the garage. The man could not sit still. Yet, he was always available and gave his family and so many friends a sense of protection and dependability. Devin's outlook on life and way with people will never be forgotten. We are crushed by his loss.

Devin is preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Michelle Patman, and father, John Walter Guthrie; Grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Guthrie; Brothers, Zack McMahon, and Rustin Luther. However, there are so many others just waiting to see him soon.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Guthrie; Children, Neveah, Kadin, Nathaniel, Angel, Joseph, and Kaleb; Uncle, Howard Wayne Guthrie and wife, Sherry; Brother, Brandon and wife, Marna; Sister, Chelsey and husband, Wesley; Sister, Amber and husband, Tracy; Nieces and nephews, Delilah, Wesley, CJ, Blaze, Bradley, Lilly, Noah, Bailey, and Levi.
