Dorothy Faye Cockrell

July 12, 1935 - January 31, 2017

Dorothy Cockrell, passed away on Jan 31, 2017 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Ar, She was born in Kosciusko, Ms. to Wesley and Inola Ferguson. Dorothy was married to Houston B. Cockrell on Feb 24, 1965.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Houston Cockrell.

Dorothy is survived by: Daughter Dianna Benner and husband Cefus, Two grandchildren, Ian and Sean Benner all of Vilonia Ar., Sister Mrs. Margaret Higginthbotham of Columbus, Ms.

Dorothy loved working in her flower beds and, most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of Beryl Baptist Church of Vilonia Ar.

Visitation will be on Feb 4, 2017 at Waxahachie Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with the funeral service following at 1:00 PM. The graveside service will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Waxahachie following the funeral service.
