Dorothy Wheatley, 83, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 25, 2019.   She was born May 9, 1936 in Lockport,  New York to Ralph and Helen Weinheimer.   She married the love of her life James Wheatley on July 24, 1954.

She is preceded in death by a son-in-law Steven Mishler and grandson Trevor Wheatley.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of  64.11 years,  James Wheatley, son David Wheatley and wife Maggi, of Duncanville, TX,  daughter Lynn Mishler, of Kandern, Germany, son Mike Wheatley and wife Christiane, of Wildwood, MO,daughter  Julie Krupala and husband Randy, of Red Oak, TX, grandchildren Troy Wheatley and wife Lisa,  of Camano Island, WA, Thad Wheatley and wife Anna, of Pullman, WA,  Tyler Wheatley and wife Jenny, of Arlington, WA,  Tim Wheatley and wife Kelli, of Pasco, WA, Lucia Gonzalez of Duncanville, TX, Joshua Mishler and wife Maria, of Kendern Germany,  Caleb Mishler, of Red Rock, AZ, Daniel Wheatley,  of  Mesa, AZ, Savannah Roundtree and husband Aaron, of Rancho Cordova, CA,  Andrew Saum,  of Glenn Heights, TX, Breanna Saum of Dallas, TX,  and twelve great-grandchildren Madisyn, Abigail, Ebony, Haily, Hannah, Cole, Finn, Paige, Ryan, Kody, Maya, and Bryn.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday,  June 27, 2019 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Interment will be held at  9:00 am, July 2, 2019 at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
