Edith McMillian, 74, of Red Oak, Texas passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. She was born on August 8,1948 to Earnest "Tom" and Mildred Barker in Malden, Missouri.

She married the love of her life, Steve McMillian, in 1967. They welcomed into their hearts and home a daughter, Moriah. Edith enjoyed putting puzzles together and thrift store shopping was a favorite pastime. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Red Oak, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents & a niece Holly McMillian. Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of fifty-five years Steve, daughter, Moriah (James) Adams; step-father Harold Boone, step-mother Judy Barker; granddaughter Timber Champagne; step-grandson David Adams; step-granddaughter Emerald Vaughn; brother Thomas (Sharon) Barker, sister Mary (Junior) Lawrence; half-brothers: Tommie Barker, Clifford Barker; brothers-in-law Bob & (Deborah) McMillian, Don & Mary McMillian; nieces: Tammy (Randy) Tanner, Sherrie (Jason) Dill; nephews: Jeremiah Barker, Donnie McMillian, Tim (Catrina) McMillian , Shane (Tracey) McMillian.

A "Celebration of Life" Service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, 11:00 AM, at Landmark Baptist Church, 982 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, Texas.
