Edward Dewey Peacock, 88, passed away peacefully in his home on August 23, 2016 in Waxahachie. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Waxahachie Funeral Home. Visitation time at 6:30pm and memorial services at 7pm.

Edward was born April 14, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Dewey Peacock and Rhada Parsons. He loved bowling, fishing and traveling. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served until 1948. He was a caring father and husband that worked hard to provide for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Peacock of Waxahachie; children, Linda Huselton and her husband James, David Peacock and his wife Lina, Donna Trimble and Pamela Peacock, Five grandchildren, Aaron, Jamie, Matt, Tyler, Kelsey and three great grandchildren, Kaden, Scout and Paxton.
