Elvira Barrera Martinez, 99, passed away at home surrounded by her loving  family September 1, 2018.  She was born in Garciasville, TX , May 24, 1919 to Estanislado and Carmelita Barrera.

She is preceded in death by her husband Santos Martinez,  daughters Maggie Padron , Amelia Rivas, sons Isidoro Padron, Jose Angel Padron, Jose Martinez, and Santos Martinez Jr.

Elvira is survived by a  brother Joe Barrera of Corpus Christi,  her daughters  Yolanda  Martinez Estrada of Waxahachie, Esperanza (Hope) Campbell of Ft.Worth, Dora Padron of Dallas,   Lupita Martinez of Mission, sons Roy Martinez of Dallas, Richard Padron of Dallas, Guadalupe Padron of Oklahoma, Faustino Padron of Belton, and Many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great Great-Grandchildren.

Viewing will begin at  9:00 AM to 6:00 PM  Monday, September 3,2018, followed by a  Rosary at 6:00 PM . Additional viewing 9:00 - 4:30 Tuesday September 4, 2018, both days at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
