Erick P. Eason, passed away July 3, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends. Erik was born in Corpus Christi, TX in 1954, to Harold and Rita Eason.

Erick proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a cartographer. He loved each job he held throughout his life, from a burger joint in Ogden, UT as a youth,  to computer technologist and he finally retired as an over-the-road truck driver. In his personal time, he also enjoyed photography and a life-long affection for trains.  Erick served the Lord through multiple positions for the Church of the Nazarene including teacher, board member and church secretary. He always had a smile, was generous to a fault, and you couldn't deny those deep blue eyes or his friendship.

Erick is preceded in death by his father Harold Ray Eason, M.D., and his grandparents Ernest Clifford and Alma Ingram Clegg, Augustus "Gus" Jefferson and Clara May Knight Eason.

Erick is survived by his loving his wife of of 31 years, Colette Eason, children Benjamin Bidwell, April Bidwell Garcia, and Joseph Bidwell; grandchildren Forest Bidwell, Alexander Garcia, Noah Garcia, Lillian Garcia, Ezra Bidwell, Isaiah Bidwell, and Daisy Parrott. He is also survived by his mother Rita Clegg Eason, sister Muriel Eason Hayward, and niece Shannon Scally West.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017, 12:30 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 315 W. Ovilla Rd, Glenn Heights, TX 75154.
