Ernest Vasquez Lopez, 68 years of age, from Dallas, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2021.

Ernest was born on August 12, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. He married the love of his life, Clara, on February 18, 1982, in McKinney, Texas. Interestingly enough, Ernest and Clara shared the same birthday, but not the same birth year.

Dr. Pepper will surly miss the revenue provided from his love for an ice cold Dr. Pepper! He loved them so much he requested that one be buried with him!

He is preceded in death by Gilbert Lopez, Richard Lopez, John Lopez, Jessie Lopez and Manuel Romero.

Ernest is survived by his loving wife of thirty-nine years; Clara Lopez, Luis Miguel Lopez, Julieta Lopez,  Jessica Marie Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Leah Rangel, Martin Mejia, Vincent Moreno, Valerie Moreno, Stephanie Martinez, Isaiah Lopez, Teresa Romero, Alfredo Lopez, Toni Romero and Gilbert Lopez.

He will missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 4:00 PM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
