Eugene (Gene) McKinley Brister 8/20/1956 - 7/28/2014 Eugene (Gene) McKinley Brister Sr, was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 20, 1956. Gene loved the outdoors and was fond of gardening, hunting and fishing. Preceding him in death is his dad, Gordon Lee Brister, sister, Deborah Stevens, and a brother Richard Brister. Survivors include his long time companion of 22 years, Cher Webb, mother Barbara Stevens, children, Eugene Jr., Tammy Hall, Jessie Brister, James Brister, Tim Brister, Nathan Brister, Kim Brister, Chris Webb, brother Ben Brister Sr and wife Karen, Gorden Brunson and wife Jody, Edwin Brister and Claudette, Michael Brister, 17 grandchildren, an many nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be a private family service at a later date.
