Farrold Eugene Batson September 2, 1938 - March 6, 2012 Farrold Eugene Batson, 73, passed away on March .6, 2012 at Red Oak Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Italy, Tx. to Houston B. and Susie Lee Batson on September 2, 1938. Farrold worked at Larkin for 11 yrs. He later worked as a body man for Carlisle Chevrolet and Italy Paint and Body. He loved to participate in the Chili/ BBQ cook-offs where he won many awards. Farrold loved being outdoors deer hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends He is preceded in death by his parents . Farrold is survived by his wife Juanita Covington, daughter Sheila Strength and husband Scott of Ennis, sons Harlan Batson and wife Cindy of Waxahachie, Mike Batson of Glenn Heights, Russell Batson and wife Karie of Alice, Tx. Sisters Tahama Thompson, Lavada Borsellino, Diane Vandemark, Wanda Baldeschiler, brothers Billy Batson, Victor Batson, Gerald Batson, grandchildren Amanda Matheny, Jason Harber, Mallory Strength, Courtlyn Strength, Candice Batson, Justin Batson, James Neal, Austin Batson, Brittany Batson, and great grandchildren Heather Matheny, James Matheny, and Logan Matheny. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Pastor Brent Batson, Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home 1201 W. 287 Bypass, Waxahachie, TX 75165, 972-923-1595. Interment will be at Forreston Cemetery following the services.
