Florene Bailey, 87, passed away April 24, 2013. She was born September 8, 1925, in Winnie, Texas to Frank & Ruth Holt. Florene loved to joke, loved to watch Tarzan & Elvis movies Her favorite thing to do was talk to the people at KBEC 1390. She loved her country music. One of her favorite sayings is "God is only a prayer away". Florene is preceded in death by three husbands Oscar William Hollingsworth, John Henry Bailey, & John Bailey, a son Roylee Hollingsworth, a son-in-law James Stoops. Florene is survived by a son David Hollingsworth, a daughter Margaret Stoops. Grandchildren Donald Ellis, Tina Crow, Brenda & Robert Grimes, Dianna Porter & Doug Tuberville, William & Amanda Taylor, Kathy Taylor & Gary Porter, Roylee Hollingsworth Jr. Nathe Cook. Great-grandchildren Chris Ellis, Nick Porter, Stephanie Cook, Duane Stevens, Jake Porter, Alli Porter, Dustin Taylor, Caty Cook, Brittney Taylor, Johnny & Joanne Peace, Corina Cruz, , Preston Tuberville, Great Great-granchildren Hayden Ellis, Cadence Ellis, Matthew Cook, Christopher Porter, Riley Peace, Ethan Peace, Broghan Peace, Avery Peace, Hunter Arriaga. Funeral Service will be Graveside April 27, 2013, 2PM, Red Oak Cemetery, with Amanda Taylor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
