Frances Ballard, 90, passed peacefully at home on February 2, 2022. She was born June 25, 1931 in Marshall, Texas to Jeff and Delia Scott.

She will be missed by all who knew her. She was always full of life and enjoyable to be with.

Frances is survived by a son Stephen Ballard and wife Jeanne, of Arlington, Texas;  a daughter Brenda Gail Ballard of Forreston, Texas; sister-in-law, and brother-in-law Ann and Norman Eggleston of Forreston, Texas, brother-in-law Mickey Ferguson of Forreston, Texas; 3 grandchildren Misty & Olen Watson of Joshua, Texas, Stormy & Andy Lemond of Mesquite, Texas and Mikel & Crystal Barham of Frisco, Texas,  7 great-grandchildren, 1 great, great-granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was employed at Sanger Harris in Dallas where she met the love of her life, Bill Ballard.  They enjoyed 69 years of marriage before his passing in December of 2016.  Frances attended cosmetologist school and after obtaining her beautician license opened her own shop.  She finished out her career assisting her husband at Ballard's Color TV Shop in Oak Cliff. One of their favorite pastimes together was traveling.

Visitation will be held 9:00 AM, February 10, 2022. Funeral Service will began at 10:00 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Forreston Cemetery.
