Frances Atkins Vallejo, age 83, went to be with the Lord April 30, 2022.  She was born on July 17, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Nile & Ona Robertson Atkins.

She met the love of her life, Tony, and they were married in 1957. They raised their five sons and daughter in Dallas, TX.  Together, they shared sixty-two years before Tony went home to be with the Lord in 2019.

Frances is survived by her sons: Tony, Andy and his wife Cindy, Alex and his wife Alicia, Terry and his wife Debbie, and Dorin Vallejo; daughter, Mary Arevalo and her husband John; ten grandchildren: Trisha, Marianna, Shana, Brittni, Steven, Steffani, Raymond (AJ), Staci (Scout), Chris, and Taylor; and eight great-grandchildren: Lillian, Kiernan, Cyra, Kaitlyn, Blake, Kirsten, Laila, and Lana.

A  Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas.

Frances loved the beautiful Texas wildflowers. The family kindly request in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, in memory of Frances L.
