Francisca Russ, took her last breath on this earth February 3, 2024. She was born December 16, 1948 to Leon and Francisca Samuel in Newport Rhode Island.    Francisca worked as a social worker for Jersey Shore Medical Center and visiting nurses Association for 40 years. She was a member of Living Word Christian Fellowship and Freedom Fellowship International. She enjoyed crocheting, Garage Sale Shopping, family game nights, Traveling with LWCF seniors, watching DIY TV, and participating in Church Ministries.

She is preceded in death by her father Leon James Samuel Sr., mother Francisca Alamo Samuel, sisters Maria Samuel, Eslin Hughes, Blanche Samuel, nephew Vincent Hughes, and Arenzo Hughes.

Francisca is survived by her sister Luz Solomon, brother Leon James Samuel Jr. daughter Lavenia V. Balina, sons Radcliff A. Harewood III, Shan Harewood, daughter Theeany T.F. Shannon, granddaughter Amanda Balina-Ayers, grandsons Samuel F. Balina, Aaron Joseph Balina, granddaughter Lindsay N. Harewood, grandsons Radcliff A. Harewood IIII, Trevor S. Harewood, granddaughters Casey N. Harewood, Evangeline Harewood, Alexandra Harewood, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces & Nephews Alena Samuel, Leon Samuel III, Lisa Greenidge, Eugene Hughes, Theodore Hughes.
