Freddy Mack Hopkins, 70, of Italy, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Freddy was born in Waxahachie, Texas  on November 4, 1950, to James Franklin Hopkins, Sr. & Thelma Louise Jones Hopkins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; Jimmy Hopkins, sisters; Barbara Young, Marion Adams, and by his faithful, beautiful, black "Fur Baby" and companion; Lokie.

He is survived by one brother; Robert Hopkins and two sisters; Verna Helton and Lee Lucas, as well as a host of other family whom he loved dearly, along with his loving niece; Donna Hopkins, who cared for him until his death. Last, but not least, he is also survived by his "Fur Babies;" "Emma," and "Tucker."

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 o'clock in the morning,  Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 W.   HWY 287 BYPASS, Waxahachie, Texas 75165. Funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00 o'clock noon.

Rev. Dave Fortunato, Pastor of "God's House" in Lone Elm, Texas will be officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
