He proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years.
"Fred" worked in the communications industry for over thirty years. He started out as a lineman for a phone company, and after years of dedicated service in the communications industry, he was made vice president of the company. He loved his work and talked about it long after retirement.
He loved horses, riding motorcycles, taking cruises, and getting together at high school reunions to spend time with "old friends." It was at a reunion that he became reacquainted with someone who grew up on the same street he did. That re-acquaintance eventually led Fred to propose marriage to his wife, Joanne Fabricius.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Frank & Burnse Fabricius and his sister; Jo Anne Fabricius Price.
He is survived by his loving wife Joanne Fabricius; son & daughter-in-law; Roger & Pam Terfher, son; Rick Fabricius, daughter; Dee Ann Fabricius Brown, son and daughter-in-law; Tony & Dawn Fabricius, children Sebastian Fabricius, Joaquin Fabricius; daughter, Brandi Fabricius, five grandchildren: JJ Terfher, Brent Terfher, Eaton Terfher-Lopez, Taylor Terfher-Woltcamp and husband, Roy: Mary Jane Fabricius- Mooneyham, and two great-grandchildren; Bree Terfher & Giavanna Woltcamp.
