IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gary Dennis
Glasco
October 18, 1945 – December 23, 2020
Gary Glasco, 75, passed away December 23 rd 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born October 18th, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas, to C. Eugene and Lavon Glasco.
Gary is preceded in death by a brother; Bob Glasco, sisters; Connie Gourley, Joyce Mortensen, grandson; Kevin Daniels, and great-grandchildren; Lakota Davis and Luke Davis, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Andra Glasco, sons; Steve, Brandon, Denny and Darrell Glasco, daughters; Jackie Daniels and Delaney Kay Gaines, stepchildren; Rick Bibb, Rhonda Hardisty, Roxanne Bradford, along with 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Gary was a quiet, kind, and gentle soul who loved his family dearly. He loved to know when any of them had accomplished their goals. Even though he knew his family had gotten too large to have everyone visit at the same time, that was always his wish. He was very sad that COVID kept them all apart this past Thanksgiving.
Gary had a great sense of humor, and told everyone he was much younger than he really was. He would tease his wife by saying he was much younger than she was (he was actually six months older).
He liked guns and spending time at the gun range, collecting videos of some of his favorite actors like John Wayne. He enjoyed driving through neighborhoods, looking at old houses, which he dreamed about renovating. He enjoyed renovating his 1978 blue El Camino, which he eventually sold. He liked to listen to the "Oldies But Goodies" radio station while driving. He always wanted to have a carport so he could park his vehicle and sit outside during the rain and watch the storms.
His favorite drink was Pepsi and he liked saying it was made of "all natural ingredients." He enjoyed Blue Bell Ice Cream; homemade vanilla, milk chocolate and chocolate chip were his favorites. He liked iced tea with lots of ice, stuffed jalapeños, hot sauce and tortilla chips.
After he became more ill and was hospitalized, his greatest desire was to spend his last days in his lift chair watching his favorites, "Walker, Texas Ranger" and John Wayne. His last thoughts were of going home to be with his Lord and Savior. The Lord granted him his heart's desire at Christmastime.
