On January 16,2024 the Heavenly Gates opened up and the stairway of the Lord's home came down to lead a new Angel home, Gary Lee Kelley Jr. Gary was born in Dallas, Texas on July 15, 1964. He was 59 years. He graduated in 1983 from Duncanville High School. He was a Diesel Instructor and a Veteran. But most of all he was a Loving and Caring father and grandfather. He loved riding motorcycles and fishing, hunting and genuine prankster.
He is survived by his wife Sheri Lynn Kelley, three daughters Cassandra Esterly (Jon), Amber Kelley (Russell), Carla Lugo (David), stepson Timothy Sprowls, granddaughters Allisson (Ally) Esterly, Violet Esterly grandsons Kobe Sprowls, Joey Kehl, Triston Willems, Sully Lugo, sister Carla Townley (Daniel), brother Mark Carpenter. And his many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father Gray Lee Kelley Sr., Mother Joan Henderson Kelley, son Jonathan Mark Kelley, grandson Alexander J. Esterly, stepdaughter Misty Sprowls Martin, brother Bruce Carpenter, Grandfather James W. Henderson (Hipshot) Grandmother Mildred Henderson & sister-in-law Cathy Carpenter.
Gary wanted to be remembered with a Big Party for his Celebration of Life. He wanted to be cremated and during the party he instructed in his own words to have his ashes put in the wind so he can come back and haunt his family and friends.
So, it is being arranged for some time in July so family and friends could come if they want. Going to try to have it around Gary's birthday. Will let everyone know when the details are arranged.
