George Rodriguez passed away peacefully at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas on Monday, September  14, 2020.  He was born on June 16, 1966 to Homer and Guadalupe Galvez Rodriguez in Shelby, Michigan.

He was employed by CRL US Aluminum for twenty-five years.  He loved spending time with his grandkids, watching the Green Bay Packers Play, BBQ with family and friends, listening Tejano music  white playing the air accordion.  His heart was big and loving, always with a smile.  He was a loving and devoted husband and father, brother and uncle to numerous nephews and nieces.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty-seven and a half  years, Sophia Villarreal Rodriguez, two sons;  Aaron Christopher Villarreal and Jeremy Alexander Rodriguez, two  granddaughters; Ariana and Alayna (Bear Bear) Villarreal and one grandson;  Jeremy Alexander Rodriguez Jr., and his Mother;  Guadalupe Galvez, five brothers; Juan, Joe, Alex, Alfred and Ray Rodriguez.

George is preceded in death by his Father;  Homero Juan Rodriquez, two brothers;  Homer and Ricky Rodriquez and two nephews, Jeremiah and Alejandro Rodriquez.

He was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held for family and friends at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 HWY 287 By-Pass, on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
