Glendon Joe McClain, passed away in his home on April the 7th, 2024. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas to Joe and Marie McClain.

Joe owned McClain's Garage in Waxahachie, TX for fifty plus years. He loved Chevrolets, racing, cars, trucks and stirring the pot.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Marie McClain, brothers, Henry, Buddy, Marvin, Herman, "Dabo" David McClain, sisters, Doris Costlow, Martha Hice and special friend, Kenneth Butner.

He is survived by his daughters, Angie, Amy, Lena McClain, and Kelli (Craig) Reed; grandchildren, Katlyn, Ty (Nikkea), Little Joe (Nina), Markes, Dustin (Kendall) and Tori McClain, Kalie, Caislea, and Karlyn Reed; great grandchildren, Keelyn, Harper, Scarlett and Christopher McClain, and many nieces and nephews. He was loved and cherished by many others. His humor and grace will be greatly missed. His legacy will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. When we see the many cars he fixed, we will smile and know he is happy.

A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Waxahachie Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11th from six to eight in the evening.
