Glenna Fern (Hall) Prather, age 81, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on November 21, 2019. Glenna was born on May 3, 1938, in Portales, New Mexico, to Mahalah (Rich) and Robert Murat Hall.  She graduated from Portales (NM) High School in 1956 and studied at Southwestern Bible Institute in Waxahachie. Glenna was a beautiful person who was devoted to her family and her friends. She loved music and genealogy, and spend untold hours of joy engaging with music and exploring her family tree.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Mulberry United Methodist Church, 5638 FM 274, Ravenna, Texas. Rev. Ronnie Ball will officiate. Interment will follow at Mulberry Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley A. Prather of 31 years, whom she married on January 15, 1989 in Waxahachie, Texas; daughter, Glenetta Kabilio of Dallas, TX; son, Barry Venable and wife Kimberly of Richmond, MN; step-son Mark Neil Prather and wife Donna of Waxahachie, TX, granddaughters, Yafite Rochelle Kabilio of Dallas, TX and Kaycee Shiley of Tallahassee, FL; grandsons, Nathaniel Hall Venable and Joshua Dean Venable of Richmond, MN; great grandchildren, Eli and Quinn Shiley of Tallahassee, FL; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Everett Venable; mother and father; her beloved siblings Ethel, Ralph, Lloyd, Gladys, and Ivy Tucker; and step children David Henry Prather, John Stanley Prather and Genie Lynn Prather.
