Grady Don Head passed away January 28, 2023 at the age of 78.  He was born March 26, 1944 in Ennis, TX. to James (Jim) and Beulah Head.

Grady was a loving husband to his late wife Jennylynn Head, and father to his children.

He loved spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He enjoyed the cookouts, birthday parties, and a variety of celebrations spent at Steve and Bonnie's in Justin, TX.  Crystal and Tommy's in Waxahachie, TX. and Greg and Jakki's in Gun Barrel City, TX. Grady and Lance enjoyed going on a yearly vacation to Marble Falls, TX to spend time and visit Donna Head. He loved the Northside Church of Christ in Waxahachie, TX.  The fellowship and friendship received from the church was dear to Grady's heart.  He liked to go to garage sales with his friend Ronnie Adams and take Lance fishing and to the train station.  He loved watching football and conversing with his son throughout the game.

Grady is survived by sons Greg(Jakki) Head, Steven(Bonnie) Head Knowles, Mark(Milynda) Green and son-in-law Donny Fisher, daughters Donna Head, Crystal(Tommy) Camp, Angela(Jerry) Green,  Grandchildren Carson Knowles, Brittany Head, Jennifer Fisher, Emily Fisher, Derek Chiles, Blake Albert, Somer Albert, Cheyanne Stephens and Ambre Severson.  Great Grand-sons Lance and Zackary Chiles, Ryan Gomez, Brett and Aiden Nielson, Elijah Prather, and Lucas Wasden.  Great Grand-daughters Lilly Betancourt, Avery Stephens, Aubrielle Santos, Aleena Cervantez, and Kaylee Wasden.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Jennylynn, His parents James(Jim) and Beulah Head, brother James Head and daughter Christina Fisher.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 Thursday February 2, 2023 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday February 3, 2023 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Officiated by Walter Buchanan and Drew Robinson.  Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.

Lunch will be served following Interment at Northside Church of Christ, 2699 N. Hwy 77 Waxahachie, TX.
