Herman Lee Smith, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family February 13, 2019.  He was born in Arkansas, September 20, 1935 to Henry and Gladys Smith.

He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Ann Smith, his parents Henry & Gladys Smith, 2 brothers Johnny Smith and David Smith.

Herman is survived by 2 sons Herman (Randy) Smith and wife Jill, Jason Lee Smith, brother Kenneth Smith, sister Virginia Faye Nunn, 2 grandchildren Harlan Smith, and Haden Smith and numerous nephews and nieces.

A visitation will be held 6-8:00 PM, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be 10 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
