Jackie Moorehead went to be with the Lord September 16, 2026 at the age of 80. He was born October 11, 1945 in Cleveland, Tennessee to Lawrence Moorehead and Ruth Todd.

Jackie is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Ruth Moorehead, brothers Mikie Moorehead & Jimmy Moorehead, sisters Linda Allison, Cheryl Moorehead & Janie Green.

Left to honor his memory are his brother Larry Moorehead and wife Mary, sisters Faye Rakestraw & husband Mike, Debbie Smith & husband Mike, nephew & niece Chris & Leigh Moorehead, Holly & Jessie Hernandez. Great nephews & nieces Dakota & Courtney Hernandez, Austin Hernandez & Hannah, Caleb Hernandez & Jade, Jesse(Bubba )Hernandez, Ashley Hernandez, Jessica Hernandez & Amanda & Steve Yarbrough.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM, September 22, 2026, the funeral will start at 11:00 AM led by Rev. Robert Shields at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
