James Arthur Barron, 67, went to be with the Lord October 11, 2020. He was born April 3, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to Arlie Andrew Barron and Claudia Mae Reed Sharp.

James married the love of his life, Teresa Webster on January 22, 1972 in Watauga, Texas. They eventually made their home in Waxahachie, Texas in 1985, where they raised their two sons and one daughter. For forty-eight years James was lovingly known by everyone as Teresa's "HONEYMAN"!

James began working in his chosen field in 1971, and went to work in 1984 for Lifoam Industries in Waxahachie, Texas  where he was a Facilities Manager. He retired from Lifoam in 2016.

He enjoyed hunting, racing and collecting coins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlie Barron and Claudia Reed Sharp, his step-father; Charles Sharp, and one brother; David A. Barron.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years; Teresa, two sons; David Barron, Jamey Barron and his wife; Nicole, and one daughter; Misty Barron Smith and her husband; Mike, three grandsons; James Cole Barron, Brooks Barron, Isaiah Anguiano, three granddaughters; McKynzi Miller, Rylee Barron, and Emma Kaye Barron, one sister; Joyce Williams and one brother; Steven Sharp.

He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Waxahachie Funeral Home on Thursday, October 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West 287 By-Pass Waxahachie, Texas 75165.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to  "Celebrate Recovery" at The Avenue Church, 1761 N Highway 77,  Waxahachie, Texas.
