James Oscar 75, passed away at home with his family around October 26, 2011. He was born March 12, 1936 to John Oscar & Laura Moore Elliott in Ellis County. James served his country in the Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Jean Elliott, James Oscar is survived by his daughter Cheryl Herrin and Danny Wafer, sons James Oscar Elliott Jr. and wife Deborah, John Jay Elliott and wife Tonya, sister Ora-Bell Stovall, brother Coy Lee Elliott, grandchildren Randall Elliott, Steven Elliott, John Jay Elliott, Laura Elliott, James Herrin, Dustin Herrin and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday October 29 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
